A catalog of 53 dash cams assembled from manufacturers’ own pages will contain mistakes, and it will go out of date the moment a maker swaps a sensor without changing the model number. Corrections are the most useful thing that arrives here.

A specification that is wrong
The field of view is off by ten degrees, the sensor is an IMX part number the maker has since changed, the temperature ceiling on our page is not the one on theirs. Say which camera and where you saw the right figure. It gets checked against the manufacturer’s own page, and a correction to a field of view or a resolution moves that camera’s pixels-per-degree figure, its rule and its place in the sort at the next build.
A camera that should be here and is not
Send the model name and a link to a published spec sheet. A camera joins the catalog once there is a manufacturer’s page to read every field off — resolution, lens angle, sensor, power cell, parking modes, temperature range — because a half-filled row shows up as blank cells on every comparison that camera then appears in.
A price that has drifted out of its band
Every price here is an approximate snapshot from 2026-09-23, written with a tilde, and dash cam street pricing moves constantly with bundle deals and the accessories a kit does or does not include. If a camera has settled well outside its band, that is worth knowing — the price bands are a filter, so a stale one puts a camera in front of the wrong shopper.
