The rearview mirror is replaced by a wide touchscreen showing a live feed from a camera on the tailgate. For a loaded SUV, a van with no rear glass or anything towing, it solves a problem no windshield camera addresses. The front lenses are very wide, so pixel density is low despite the resolution on the box.
